The project comprises the development of a new 70,000sqm mega distribution centre for Metcash at Gepps Cross SA.
The distribution centre includes over 15,000sqm of refrigerated and frozen storage, charging for over 30 electric fork lifts, and extensive naturally ventilated and daylit warehousing.
The distribution support offices include a new State HQ for Metcash, staff canteen and wellness spaces, and extensive end of trip facilities for alternative transport. The office building is designed to perform to a 5 Star NABERS Energy standard.
The entire development is registered to obtain a 5 Star Green Star Design & As-Built rating, including a full Climate Change Adaptation Plan and whole of life cycle carbon analysis.
